The Pearl Sphere World
A gala that lives in the pearl sphere world. Midnight canvas as the foundation — deep, near-black navy that reads as neither blue nor black but as the hour just before dawn. Against it: ivory pearl and champagne rose gold. The motif is the pearl sphere itself — photographic, tactile, iridescent. Variant 5, The Column: full-bleed photography anchors the top of every tall piece, copy descends from the luminous zone into midnight, content anchors to the bottom as if settling into the evening.
Decoration is calibrated by piece. The envelope liner is 85% expressive — the first full reveal of the world, the moment the envelope opens and the guest is already inside the event. The menu sits at 55%, the photography present but giving way to the courses. The programme is 40%, atmosphere only — three pearl ghost dots barely registering against the midnight. The place card and table card carry 25% and 20% respectively: almost nothing. At the table, restraint is the deepest form of luxury.

§ 05–10 — The Suite
The complete mailing set: invitation, envelope exterior, and envelope liner as a single world. Pearl sphere photography fills the upper two-thirds of the invitation, dissolving into midnight. The exterior is pure restraint — all drama is reserved for the moment of opening, when the full-bleed liner reveals the pearl sphere world within. Seventy-five, fifty, and eighty-five percent decoration respectively.

The arrival moment. Pearl sphere photography at the top, dissolving into midnight at 48%. Three signature cocktails — named within the pearl-sphere world — descend in Cormorant italic with DM Sans descriptors. The gold hairline separating label from list is the only structural element. Fifty-eight percent decoration: expressive enough to set the tone, restrained enough to be read at the bar.
Pearl sphere photograph fills the upper two-thirds. A deep, late-dissolve gradient burns from full photography into pure midnight — the world arrives before the menu does. Three courses anchor to the lower half: GALA and event name in the fade zone, each course label in gold. The second course offers a fish and meat choice, side by side.
Pearl sphere photograph at the top, dissolving into midnight at 44%. Identity — GALA, event name, section label — sits in the fade zone where world meets dark. Four entries distribute the full height of the card: time in champagne gold at left, activity in Cormorant italic, detail in DM Sans. Venue anchors the foot.
Landscape 2:1. One guest name in Cormorant italic, one thin gold rule, one table designation. Twenty-five percent decoration — the restraint is the design. Nothing competes with the person seated there.
"TABLE" in micro Space Grotesk caps, the roman numeral "VII" in 54px Cormorant italic, a gold hairline, the event name. Legible from across the room. Twenty percent decoration — almost nothing. Small portrait 2:3.
